Last October, Netlfix shared its plan of releasing 30 anime original series in 2018. And it seems that the company has been following seriously. As of March 2018, Netflix has released many quality-anime likeDevilman Crybaby, B : The Beginning and A.I.C.O. -Incarnation- and many others are on the list.

This month, anime fans have another reason to be happy about as Netflix has added 'In This Corner of the World' to its streaming service. Netflix has added the movies in many countries like US, Canada and India. Netflix US was a major surprise since the fans there have been devoid of some great shows recently like Violet Evergarden. Netflix India, which has only recently received 'The Garden of Words' as an addition, was a surprise as well. Unfortunately, Australia is not in the list of countries where the anime has been made available.

In This Corner of the World is an anime movie set in the 1930s–1940s in Hiroshima and Kure in Japan, roughly 10 years before and after the atomic bomb, but mainly in 1944–45. Though it is a fictional account, the episodes and background of the story are based on facts and real incidents researched by the production staff.
